Breakfast Club

Overview

St Nicholas Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working Breakfast club assistant to be part of our team. Previous experience of working with children is an advantage but enthusiasm and willingness to work flexibly as part of a team are essential.

The hours for this role to be worked as follows: 7:30-8:35, 5 days a week.

Personal attributes

The Breakfast Club Assistant will be required:

  • To assist the leader in providing a caring, safe and secure environment.
  • Be adaptable to different ages, to be non-discriminatory.
  • To assist in planning and providing an appropriate range of activities for children.
  • Provide extra support for pupils with special educational needs or disabilities.
  • Provide extra support for pupils with English as an additional language.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, and use of Microsoft Office applications would be beneficial but not a requirement.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good sense of humour.
  • Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team.
  • A friendly, helpful, caring, and flexible approach.
  • Open-mindedness, patience, and compassion.

Salary & Benefits

Grade:                                               Aquinas Grade A3.1

Full time salary range:             £23,355.00 p.a.

Hours:                                                7 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year

Actual Pro-Rata salary:           £3,789.60 p.a.
