Breakfast and Afterschool Club Assistant

Overview

Trinity Church of England Primary, a member of the Aquinas Church of England Education Trust, is a two-form entry School. We are looking to appoint new a dedicated and resourceful Breakfast and Afterschool Club Assistant, to provide childcare for pupils attending the Breakfast and After School Club.

Personal attributes

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Offer the children a wide range of play activities and ensuring that the club offers the children a relaxed, informed and caring environment.
  • Set out activities before the children arrive and pack up at the end of the session.
  • Order and serve healthy meals/snacks to promote healthy eating.
  • Preparation of food and cleaning away.
  • Undertaking first aid as needed, following health and safety guidelines.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, and use of Microsoft Office applications would be beneficial but not a requirement.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good sense of humour.
  • Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team.
  • A friendly, helpful, caring and flexible approach.
  • Open-mindedness, patience and compassion.
  • A commitment to equal opportunities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all school matters.
  • High levels of self-confidence.
  • Ability to relate well to other professionals.

Salary & Benefits

Grade:                     A3.1 (full time salary £23,355.00 p.a.)

Hours:                     20 hrs per week (7:30 – 8:45am and 15:15 -18:00pm, Mon- Friday)

Weeks:                   39 weeks per year

Actual Pro Rata Salary:   £11,111.12 p.a.

Contract:                                  Part Time Term Time, Permanent
