Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Overview

St. John’s CE Primary School is looking to recruit a versatile and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will become fully committed to our ethos. The role can also include daily Midday Supervisor duties.

The Role (will include/require):


• An outstanding HLTA who is committed to raising standards with high expectations for all pupils.
• Working independently and collaboratively with teaching staff in the planning and preparation of resources and the delivery of the curriculum.
• Providing teaching cover as and when required.
• Supporting pupils with SEND.
• Being proactive in managing pupil behaviour and keeping children safe.
• Midday Supervisor duties if required.

The right candidate needs to be a good communicator, adaptable, flexible and put the wellbeing and needs of the children first.

Salary & Benefits

Salary range:                              Aquinas Grade 4
                                                           £25,613.00 - £27,434.00
Actual Salary (Pro-rata):   £19,039.63 - £20,393.28
Hours:                                           Part Time (31.25 hours per week) Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm
Weeks:                                         39 (Term Time Only)
