Midday Supervisor

Overview

St. John’s CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our team in April.

Personal attributes

The role will involve:

  • Always ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
  • Supervising conduct of pupils in the lunch hall and playground.
  • Setting up the lunch hall and cleaning after lunch.
  • Supporting and encouraging pupil’s social interaction and undertaking first aid as needed.

 

The successful candidate will have:

 

  • General experience of children and their supervision.
  • A flexible attitude.
  • Listening and observation skills.
  • Team working skills.
  • An ability to deal with parents and children with tact and sensitivity.
  • Persuasive skills to encourage sound eating habits.

Salary & Benefits

Grade:                                       Aquinas Grade 3 (Full time salary range: £24,645 p.a. - £25,936 p.a.)

Hours:                                       5 hours per week – Monday to Friday (12.15pm to 13.15pm),

Weeks:                                     38 weeks per year

Actual Pro-Rata salary: £2,856.00 - £3,006.00
