Part-Time Teaching Assistant Fixed Term until 23.07.25
Overview
St. George’s Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to become part of a flourishing school that achieved Outstanding by OFSTED in November 2022. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant or someone who is passionate about improving the life experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will work with an experienced and supportive team who are committed to improving the life experiences of our pupils.
Personal attributes

• Have experience working with children.
• Knowledge and understanding of how to support children and aid their development.
• An ability to deploy strategies to allow learners to engage with the curriculum creatively.
• Very good numeracy/literacy skills.
• NVQ3 Teaching Assistant Course (desirable) or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Want to work as part of a hardworking, dedicated and cohesive team.
• Have a friendly, helpful, caring and flexible approach.

Salary & Benefits
Grade: Aquinas 4.1 (Full time salary £25,613.00 p.a)
Actual Pro Rata Salary: £9,333.47 p.a
Hours: Mon-Fri, 15 hours per week, 9:00am-12:00pm
Weeks: 39 weeks per year (up to 23/07/25 but includes inset days)
Contract: Fixed Term until 23.07.25
