Teaching Assistants x 2 Part Time – Fixed Term

Overview

St Nicholas Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and hard-working teaching assistants part time to support class teachers and work with named pupils in KS2 with additional needs and an EHC Plan.  The role is a fixed term role but there may be an opportunity for this to be extended.

Personal attributes

The successful candidate will have:

• Have experience working with SEN children.
• Knowledge and understanding of how to support children and aid their development.
• An ability to deploy strategies to allow learners to engage with the curriculum creatively.
• Very good numeracy/literacy skills.
• Minimum NVQ3 Teaching Assistant Course or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Want to work as part of a hardworking, dedicated and cohesive team.
• Have a friendly, helpful, caring and flexible approach.

Salary & Benefits

Grade: Aquinas A3.1 (Full Time Salary: £24,645.00 p.a.
Hours: 10hrs per Week (Monday to Friday, 13:30 – 15:30) These are the school's preferred hours; however, we may be able to be flexible to accommodate the right candidate. Please contact the school to discuss.
Weeks: 39 Weeks per Year
Actual Pro-rata Salary: £5,862.42
Contract: Fixed term until 23.07.25 (there may be an opportunity for this to be extended)
